Don't Turn Your Back On AIDS 2008

Nearly 200 people commemorated World AIDS Weekend on November 29, 2008 at the Flowers Heritage Foundation's third annual “Don’t Turn Your Back on AIDS” Awareness through Art reception. We received 150 compelling and insightful artworks from 15 Bay Area high schools, and raised money to support the Foundation's public health programs. As one of our judges, Stephanie Cannizzo of the Berkeley Art Museum said, "I can't help but think that the students' participation in this work will have a positive impact in the world." The Foundation is grateful to the talented young artists who devoted their time and energy to the fight against HIV/AIDS. View Student's Artwork >>
