Don't Turn Your Back On AIDS 2011

On Thursday evening April 28th 2011, the Flowers Heritage Foundation hosted its Fifth Annual Don't Turn Your Back on AIDS High School HIV/AIDS Awareness Art Exhibition and Awards Ceremony. This year's event was held at the Bently Reserve in San Francisco from 6:00-9:00 PM. Silent auction items included everything from weekend vacations and fine wines, to sports memorabilia, fine art, and goods and services. Live entertainment was provided by Paula West and her band. The Mistress of Ceremony was Barbara Rodgers, former news anchor with CBS 5 (KPIX). Media coverage highlighted this extraordinary event.

We received 150 compelling and insightful artworks from 15 Bay Area high schools, and raised money to support the Foundation's public health programs for another year.
